"Doodling" - Original

Dogs have occupied our art for thousands of years—from ancient tombs and mosaics to the domestic portraits of the modern age. Here, that long lineage gets a Pop Art jolt. An all-white doodle, built from thick strokes of impasto, erupts against a midnight-blue ground, sending a galactic spray of water spinning around his body. He stands ankle-deep in tropical teal, pale yellow light flickering through the ripples at his feet.

At 48 × 48 inches, the painting is loud, buoyant, and unapologetically joyful—part beach party, part cosmic event. Painted entirely with the fingers, it celebrates that particular genius dogs possess for inhabiting a moment completely: life lived at full volume.
