Does Iris accept commissions? Yes! Iris accepts commissioned work. If you’re interested in commissioning a painting, please email us at Advisory@IrisScottFineArt.com or call (505) 542-4040 to discuss your vision and next steps. Each commission is a personalized process, allowing Iris to create a unique piece just for you. Please visit our Commissions page for more details.

What are the prices for original oil paintings? Iris Scott’s original paintings are priced per square inch. Smaller works, such as a 12×12-inch painting, start around $3,000, while larger pieces—like a 96×72-inch painting or bigger—can range from $48,000 and up.

Can I make an offer on an original painting? Yes! Iris is always open to considering reasonable offers on her original paintings. If you’d like to make an offer on an available piece, please email Advisory@IrisScottFineArt.com or call (505) 542-4040. We’ll be happy to discuss your offer and guide you through the next steps.

How are originals shipped? For U.S. customers, Iris’s original paintings are shipped via FedEx, UPS, or by professional art courier. International shipments are typically shipped rolled in a protective tube so they can be stretched and framed locally.

Do you ship internationally? Yes! We ship paintings worldwide. Standard rolled shipping is included in the price. If you would like your piece shipped stretched and ready to hang, we’re happy to provide a quote—please email Advisory@IrisScottFineArt.com or call (505) 542-4040 for details.

Do you provide custom framing? Iris paints the edges of her paintings, so framing isn’t required—but when a collector prefers a frame, we offer custom framing options. Additional fees apply depending on the size and style of the frame. Please email Advisory@IrisScottFineArt.com or call (505) 542-4040 to discuss your framing options.

When will I receive my painting? Over half of Iris’s original oil paintings sell before they are fully dry. If you purchased a painting that is still drying, your painting will be shipped as soon as it’s safe to do so (drying time is typically 4–6 weeks). If you purchased a painting that is dry, shipping will occur within 7-10 business days. If your piece requires white-glove delivery, it will be scheduled with our art courier, delivery depends on the art courier's schedule.

Where can I experience Iris’s originals in person? Prints

What is a Limited Edition Canvas Print? A Limited Edition Canvas Print begins as a high-definition giclée print stretched on 1.5" stretcher bars, then is brought to life with hundreds of hand-painted, textured strokes applied right in Iris’s studio in New Mexico. No two are identical—each embellished print features unique details, making it a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

This exclusive series is limited to just 20 editions worldwide per image. As part of the Iris Scott Archive Collection, each print comes with a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

What is a Standard Canvas Print? Standard canvas prints are created using premium inks from ultra-high-resolution scans of Iris Scott’s original oil paintings. The artwork image wraps around the sides of the print. U.S. orders arrive stretched and ready to hang on 1.5-inch wooden stretcher bars. Hardware is included.

Does Iris offer paper prints?
Yes. Iris offers a selection of 12×12-inch paper prints for U.S. customers, crafted on bright white fine art matte paper made from 100% cotton fiber. Archival-grade and designed to remain vibrant for over a century, each print delivers museum-quality reproduction with remarkable color depth and crisp detail. A 16×16 or 18×18 frame with a mat works perfectly for these prints.

How long does it take to receive my order? Limited Edition prints require extra time while Iris hand-paints each piece. They ship once the paint is fully dry—typically 3–4 weeks from your order date. Shipping time within the U.S. is 3–7 business days; international shipments may take longer.

Do you offer framing? Yes, except for paper prints. Iris offers five floater frame options for Limited Edition and Standard Canvas Prints (black, silver, gold, white, and wood).

Do you ship Limited Edition and Standard Canvas Prints internationally? Yes,  International canvas print orders shipping to Europe and Australia generally arrive stretched and framed if you ordered a frame. However, certain sizes may need to be shipped rolled depending on carrier restrictions. We will promptly contact you if additional international shipping charges apply. All other international orders, as well as orders to Hawaii and Alaska, will ship rolled and require stretching at a local frame shop.

PLEASE NOTE: All Limited Edition Prints shipped internationally and to Hawaii or Alaska will be shipped rolled. If you prefer a stretched shipment, we’re happy to provide a quote—please email Advisory@IrisScottFineArt.com

Can I pay extra for a stretched print shipped internationally? Yes, email Advisory@IrisScottFineArt.com or call (505) 542-4040 for a shipping quote.
