An electric pale yellow sky expands above a not-so-distant coastline, where the weft of rolling foothills, woven with grasses and wildflowers, entices the viewer to step into this sunny scene and run their hands across the tops of the flowers.

The cool, salty wind, carrying the scent of the ocean, weaves through the blades of grass. A dark band of navy blue, a bold ribbon of ambiguous color, cuts diagonally across the picture plane, suggesting a hidden creek. Golds, greens, pinks, teals, yellows, and ultramarine, a rich palette of colors, are interwoven in the foreground, creating a tapestry of thick and juicy texture.
