Below, white sand dunes are lightly veiled by a tapestry of shoreline flora – beach strawberry, dune goldenrod, and wild rye – their delicate forms swaying in a salty breeze. The madrone's sinuous shadows of pooling purples swirling across the bottom right quadrant like a river, beckons the viewer to shed their shoes and step onto the cool, yielding sand.
