Scope - Original

Scope, a petite painting, transforms the familiar vase of flowers into something fluid, dreamlike, and delightfully unstable. Against a soft gray ground, petals, stems, and vessel seem to drift beyond their own boundaries, dissolving into ribbons of color that mingle like oil floating across water. Pearlescent bands of lavender, mint, gold, coral, and deep blue weave through the composition, creating fleeting hints of a rainbow without ever settling into one. The vase itself appears almost woozy, as though caught between blooming and melting.
