Roxy
Roxy
She grew up alongside the family’s two young boys, becoming their constant companion and a beloved member of the household. She loved the water so much that, after every swim, she would shake herself off all over her family, earning the affectionate nickname “doggie showers.”
When Roxy’s family first discovered Iris Scott’s Shaking Dogs series, they were immediately reminded of Roxy splashing through the water. They purchased a canvas print of Moonlight Swim that became a cherished daily reminder of her, arriving just two months before her unexpected passing. To this day, the print holds a special place in their kitchen, where it continues to greet the family every day, keeping the memory of their beloved companion close to their hearts.
Years later, with their children grown and two more golden retrievers by their side, the family commissioned an original painting of Roxy. It will hang in the very same spot in their kitchen, continuing a beautiful tradition of celebrating the love, loyalty, and unforgettable memories of a dog who will always hold a special place in their family.
