It has taken me a decade of finger painting and capturing the likenesses of over 60 shaking dogs to arrive at Salvador—a striking portrait of a German Shepherd. Funny enough, Salvador in real life was named Max and sired my own studio companion-- Fernando-- the mutt.

Measuring an impressive 8 feet wide by 6 feet tall, this painting is a testament to years of patience, observation, and playful experimentation. Salvador was included in my 2021 solo show, Shakin’ Off the Blues, at Burnet Fine Art & Advisory in Wayzata, celebrating a canine collection about joy, water dogs, and our beloved furry companions.

Limited Edition Embellished Canvas Prints

Limited Edition Embellished Canvas Prints are now available for fine art collectors. Iris Scott paints onto the surface of the print with hundreds of dabs of thick texture and color to create a unique print. The artwork includes a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity, and each image is restricted to just 20 embellished prints.
