Here in the desert, the stars are pretty insane. It’s the first time I’ve been able to see multicolored glows coming from the heavens.

I used to think stars were all just white in color. No way. There’s truly a rainbow up there. Beneath the wide skies of New Mexico, the night reveals itself in layers of violet, gold, blue, and rose—an ever-shifting spectrum suspended in silence. The Milky Way stretches boldly down the center of the canvas, placed exactly as I see it above the New Mexico night sky—an anchor of light cutting through the darkness.

Created entirely through finger painting, the surface carries movement, texture, and a deeply human touch against the vastness of space. It would look especially powerful on a dark-tinted wall or in a room with richly stained furniture, where the colors can glow against a moody backdrop.

Limited Edition Embellished Canvas Prints

Limited Edition Embellished Canvas Prints are now available for fine art collectors. Iris Scott paints onto the surface of the print with hundreds of dabs of thick texture and color to create a unique print. The artwork includes a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity, and each image is restricted to just 20 embellished prints.
