The Urban Collection began before Iris relocated to New York in 2014. A restless desire for the energy of the city sparked a series of paintings capturing rain-slicked streets and glowing traffic lights, a prelude to her urban exploration. Over the six years she lived in Brooklyn, the series deepened, transforming streets, rooftops, and skylines into compositions alive with color, movement, and light. These works pulse with the rhythms of city life, revealing moments of fleeting beauty amid the grit, and rendering the metropolis itself as a vibrant, breathing canvas.
