The Horses Collection began the moment Iris Scott first picked up a pencil. Her earliest childhood sketches all depicted horses. Growing up with her own black and white pinto horse, Oreo, she imagined wild adventures across open fields, capturing Oreo’s likeness on paper. From a young age, she studied her equine companion with care, and her devotion has only deepened into adulthood. Her signature finger-painting technique ripples the surface with layers of vibrant hues, sparkling with impasto oil-painted texture.
