Quarter Moon - Original

A quarter-sized moon rises over a lavender dusk, casting its cool glow on a gnarly, flame-lit tree shaped by Van Gogh–like sweeps of land. Grasses shift like windborne currents, blurring into the tree’s form in an intentionally abstracted gesture—more a meditation on paint than on landscape. Gold pigment builds sculptural ridges as blues, purples, and teal collide in wave-like motion. Three or four distant trees anchor the far horizon, and the artist’s signature is quietly incised into the dark blue foothills of the upper right.

The sides of the canvas are painted as a wrap-around continuation of the painting. Arrives ready to hang or frame.
